Hi again guys.

Im driving a MB6 1.8 VTi with B18C...thinking of wire up a SFC Neo or VAFC II for fun.

but after i check Apexi wiring diagram. it seen none of fit the layout of the wires.

well here is what i find out so far.

although is 98 made. but still using OBDI. (only found the 2pin check plug)
the closest match of wiring layout. is "H3a" from apexi VAFC2 diagram.
but there is 2 wire location are wrong , 1) RPM, 2) "VTM"
and here are photo for it.





if any1 have any idea what ECU is this or which wire is it. this will very helpful.

also if any exist guide out there plz give me the link , please. please please..

 

That is an OBDII ecu, it may resemble an OBDI but it is 100% not. Stock for B18C4 UKDM

 

i see..so inside is OBD2 but using OBD1 interface?

in that case...Do all honda wiring color code are same? if so i can follow it to find out which wire is RPM and VTM.
or have any1 already done the wiring color code table before?

btw what do you mean not 100% stock :/ ?

 

That was 2 different sentences, I said that the ecu is 100% not OBDI and in ther other sentence I said it is the stock ecu for the B18C4. I can look into the wiring for you, might be a tough diagram to get ahold of but I'm sure it is out there somewhere.

 

i dont mean to thread jack but can apexi neo be used with obd2 ecu i was planning on one but im obd2?

 

as long as your honda so on the wiring diagram, it can. Even if your car not show, found out which wires Does: 12v +, 12v-, TPS, MAP, VTS, VTM(some car)and RPM. as long as you found out wheres these wires , you are good to go.

back to topic. following the service manual, i have location all these wires, so....i guess im ok, thank you for help guys
