Tire Size Need help!
Hi I bought 205-45hr-17's will those be fine on my del sol? or should i go with 205-40-17's? I would appreciate advice ASAP so i can let them know before they ship my order tomorrow.
Unless your uber concerned about ride quality i would go with the 40's.
It'll look nicer and based on my calculations if you go with the 205/40-17 it will not effect your speedometer/odometer much at all.
The 45's will make it under-read.
Hope that helps

Jesus, a 45 series on a 17" on a Del Sol? Correct me if I'm wrong, but that will be a ridiculously large set of wheels on that tiny car. For 17's you will want to go with a lower profile tire.
As above, 40 is the correct aspect ratio to maintain the stock overall diameter, which keeps performance, ride, and electronics working properly.
