Default Automatic Ecu in a 5 speed car??

I need a stock obd1 ecu for a ls integra. If it is an automatic ecu and i have a five speed will it matter? what will happen by putting a auto ecu in a 5 speed car? TIA

nothing. you will just through a code. it wont run like crap but it wont run its very best. its ok. i ran auto ecu for a few months. no problems.

yea it will throw a code. I heard it might waste more gas because the fuel map is different... not too sure though because I only ran on it for about 5 days.

If you are handy with a soldering iron, it's a pretty simple process to change an auto ecu to manual. You can look it up over at pgmfi.org. It should just be a matter of cutting one jumper and soldering in another. For a P28 02D011F0-1500 board you need to remove RP17, and solder a jumper in place of RP18. It may be slightly different for other boards.
