Subaru RWD lightweight coupe (joint coupe w/ Toyota) spotted!
i can definitely tell that its a legacy just by the rear end look.
legacy coupe? maybe, if you look through the drivers window to see the passenger rear, it looks like a coupe window but you cant be sure.

i think its subaru powered. i guess the base is non-turbo, than there will be an option for the 2.5t sti spec and eventually awd. but thats all speculation.

This thing will be wearing Toyota badges, right? I believe it's a Toyota platform with a Subaru NA boxer engine, but what's the point of using the Subaru motor? Why not update the last Celica GTS engine?
Edit- now I'm reading that this will be badged both ways, like DSMs were.

again from another source, but the two are going to be wearing different sheet metal, and we only get the subaru badged one. not the toyota one.
Toyota has been buying Subaru stock ( or at least stock in the parent company, can't remember the name). The coupe is gonna be badged as a Toyota for Japan only and as a Subaru for the global market. Edmunds Inside Line has had a couple articles on it in the last couple weeks. They said it will probably be powered by the NA 2.0 boxer and the target price is $20k! If all holds true, sign me up!
It looks like a legacy...identical to a legacy... looks like Legacy 08 headlights, grill, etc... and it DOES NOT have the shape of a coupe - the front door is too small. Looks like a crappy photoshop.
