How do you take off the passenger airbag cover? does it just pop out with a screwdriver or something? thanks

 

open the glove box and you'll have access to the underside of the airbag. I think there are a couple 10mm bolts that hold it in place.

are you going to remove the cover and reinstall it? if you do, make sure you ditch the airbag computer too...less weight

remove glovebox, remove 10mm bolts, pop out the airbag and unscrew the vinyl covering. then you just pry it off and put the cover back in the car.

 

There are 4 10mm nuts, not bolts you need to remove. 2 are easy, the ones that bolt the airbag to the underdash frame. The other two are way up on the inside of the top of the dash.. hard to reach have a long extension.. they're even harder to put back in. then pull the bag out from the top.
