Default O2 sensors--Will car run w/ them unplugged?

Just wondering... My car's been running like crap; I'm suspecting the O2 sensors are shot... Can I just unplug them and run my car anyway? I know it'll throw a CEL, but it won't have that annoying 5000rpm rev limiter, will it?

Thanks.

If your car is running like crap, that's a pretty damn broad problem ur having, hard to say what it is

Try doing maintenance (sp?) on the motor.

I ran with no O2 sensors for about a month. I also got like 30mpg during that time too. Oh, vtec and everything works fine too with no o2 sensors.
