TPS sensor question

TPS sensor question
Ok well i been getting code 7 TPS sensor well i turned on the car and unplugged the connector to the tps and the car stay normal and no change was made after removing the tps sensor. Could the TPS sensor or the connector be bad ?????Ive cleared the codes and no Check engine is on right now
