Default radio block off 96 civic dx

i relocated my radio to where my cupholder is and ive been wanting to block off the part where the radio was. but ive havent had the chance to try it. does anyone know a DIy on how to do this? i was just going to cut out a piece of plastic and tape it with moulding tape and just put carbonfiber film over it. any ideas?

Look for a single DIN block off plate from audio suppliers.

Also there are single DIN gauge holders that you could also consider.

^and its $14 from the dealership.
Ive used just a cutout section from a spare dvd case. Worked just fine and looked the same as the oem, without lines.

You'll almost never find any parts, outside of general maintenance items, at a dealer...

If you really want to buy it from a local place (I wouldnt) take them the part number and have them order it. They can.
Otherwise, just buy it online, from places like SLHonda or Majestic

OP, the part is listed under the '96-'98 CX only. It won't be listed for any other trim.

Trust me, it's there. I have one and I'm looking in the Honda parts catalog right now too. It's definitely right there in the catalog.

PANEL ASSY., RADIO
77230-SM4-G00

It probably won't be in stock though. It only takes a few days to get the part at your local dealership.
