Hey i got a D16Z6 engine out of an 92 Civic Si. And the moter mount doesn't bolt of off the old block was a D16Z6 also but the one off the 92 has a slight slant to it. What the hell do i do....it is going in my 89 CRX HF

 

put the mounts from your motor that you are taking out of hte crx

 

thats what the problem is the top driver side mount is slightly different the old one the 2 bolts are strat across and the 92 engine they have a slight angle to them.

 

i had the same problem....look at this pic



If you are going to put that z6 in a crx, you have to use the 88-91 mount on the z6 block. At least that is what I did.

yea, i just transfered all my mounts over and dropped my z6 in..

 

hey thats where i am at now, lol, i need an a6 mount, lol. I knew it before i mounted the motor but.. Anyway who cares, lol, just use the mount off of your old hf motor

 

The old engine was a Z6 block with a A6 head thats why i don't understand the mount i got 2 Z6 blocks but i guess the other block is from a newer year

 

you need the bracket off of a 88-91 d series motor
