Okay i got a DX wired up for a ZC already but my question is.... What do I hook up to the vtec oil sending unit? Do I hook anything up? I have two extra plugs on the back of the block but... I dont know if they go there or whats up.

And one more thing, I am gonna wire VTEC up to a switch till I get a VTEC controller, how do i do it, hook a + - and then the other wire to the vtec solenoid and then its set?

aight...u take the wire and run it through the firewall then along the drivers side under the seat then jam it up ur freakin a$$...hey *** i got your bracket so come by when ever you need it...im to lazy to bring it to you...hahahahah

 

i dont think you hook up the oil sending unit, you only hookup the solenoid wire, im not sure tho can anyone else clarify this.???

 

How about hooking it up.. How do I do that.. I was just wondering if the way I said is right, like + - then the 3rd wire goes to the solenoid..

Also, on the ZC there is one thing on the back of the manifold. Forgot whats its called. Anyway, on the SI manifold I am using, there is that thing on there. And on that side of the block on the Z6 there is a spot where a hose should go(on the zc that hoes goes tot he oil filter housing), but on the Z6 there is no spot on the filter housing. So do I run a hose to the thing ont he manifold or not? I just found this problem before.

i heard that for hooking up the vtec through a switch you gota run it through a relay, not sure on that.... and i have no idea of what hole your talking about

 

anyone else? I am kinda lost about that spot where that hose should be, I dont know what it is for.. I am guessing its for the fast idle(i think thats what that solenoid is), and I hook it to that but again, I dont know.
