Default 5w20 or 5w30 oil
i have a 2003 crv. honda recommends 5w20 oil but my mechanic usually puts 5w30 oil during oil changes, will this be harmful? should i insist he uses 5w20?

Welcome to H-T. I personaly use what Honda recommends. I would stick to what Honda says, although 5w 30 won't hurt a thing. 5w 20 is better for start up in cold climates.
