your car may be an 88 Si, but that engine harness is not from an 88 Si - round 8-wire connectors were on 89-91 - the 88 connector is a square 6-wire and looks like this:

the reason the 89-91 had 2 extra wires was for the Fast Idle Control Valve which the 88 doesn't have - the black/yellow and blue wires are for the FICV - there are no wires in the 88 chassis harness to connect these wires to - for the car to run, you don't need the FICV - the codes you have aren't related to that connector - the wires for the sensors that are throwing codes are in the connectors on the passenger side - make sure all of the wire colors match on both sides of those connectors

i was reading in the manual that 88s and later have a eacv, on the back of the intake with the same color wires.black and yellow and the blue/yellow one said that the black and yellow went to fuse #14 and the other one went to the ecu to a11, maybe this?

u need to get the electrical service manual for the car and sort through your harness tracing all the wires and everything. Time to get real familiar with your car.
