well what year civic b/c the 01-05 civic's come with stock 14in rims and 15in rims on the ex...So if you have that year civic than you should be good with anything.

I have the Motige FF7 and they are 18in and fit with no problem..So personally you can fit those rims but you should look at going bigger..the 18in rims I have still have a lot of clearence..you could prob fit 19's if you really wanted to but anywere from

13-19 In rims would be fine

pics of 13's on the vehicle? The 13in steelies I had wouldn't even clear my caliper.

ok for one thing going bigger is not the answer i am an auto cross racer i need the smaller wheels for the gear ratio and less rotational weight. as well as i can get some massive rubber on the 13 that does not cost an arm and leg.

o and the car is an lx so it came with 14s on it and i know i can find it i just need a little help

I have a feeling 13" wheels will not clear your 10" front rotors. Especially with the caliper attached to the knuckle.

14inch tires are pretty cheap... you can just stick with those...

^but he doesnt want to because they're steelies. the VX wheels aren't. but i sincerely doubt you'll clear the caliper.

13x7.5" lenso vpd's will clear integra brakes, and aluminum wheels generally have a good bit more inner clearance for brakes than any steel wheel. I know i have seen 13x8 rota rb's on a civic before, so i doubt it would be a problem

also, 14" tires arent much more than 13", and the team dynamics 14x7's are pretty cheap, so you should consider that route

i do totally understand what you are getting at. I have done a ton of auto-x, and road racing. I dont know what tire you are looking to use, or what size, but let me know, the is a good chance you could go to a 14" wheel that is just as light or maybe a very slight amount heavier, and a tire with the same or a hair bit more overall diameter...... most competition 13" and 14" tires range from low 21" to low 23" diameters, so it is pretty easy to get something close in each size. I think going with a 14" will be easier with little or no more expense

Yes, but to use the new Hoosier 255/40-13 tire, you'd need a 13" rim... and that's significantly wider than anything available in a 14" size. Hoosier's biggest 14" A6/R6 tire is only a 225/50-14:

Um... because 255 section width is greater than 225?? And a race tire that's 30 mm wider means more grip and more speed?
