I have a 91 crx si with 309k original engine and tranny but the last few weeks it has become hard to shift. The clutch does not slip but makes a funny noise when it first engages in first. Why is it hard to shift?

 

309K original miles is why its hard to shift.LOL

Ok for real though its more then likely your throw out bearing or pressure plate..Or maybe it just has a lot of miles on that tranny and should be replaced or rebuilt...Just my opinion though...Hey I didnt even notice but your not to far from me..Howdy neighbor!!!LOL
