5-Lug using EX knuckles
Has anyone acctually done this? I've seen a handfull of people with 5-lug but afaik they all had DA knuckles, allthough everyone allways says EX knuckles would also work. I can confirm that the caliper placement is correct on the EX knuckles however after having my CTR hubs ground down to spec and pressed in I was quite dissapointed to find that it wasn't "that easy" as everyone had said. It turns out the next ring out that's near the lugs is also too large by abouy .2-.3" so it's completely bound up and not nearly all the way pressed in...
This also looks more difficult to get machined... Anyone have any experience with this?
These are CTR Hubs in 91 Civic EX knuckles.
Thanks,
-Kurt

I got a set of ex knucles and was also going to do the 5 lug with them.
I was going to use US UTR or JDM CTR to get the 32 spline hubs but this is the first I have heard of this? Is the ITR and CTR hubs different? Are you sure its in all the way?

I don't know if there are any differences between the USDM ITR and JDM CTR. I do know that it isn't in all the way. It can't go in all the way because it just hits the inner ring.
