Default Problem with illumina shocks

Hi Im having some problems with my tokico shocks. Aside from at least one just starting to squeak at each and every bump I cant figure out how to adjust them. Yes I can just use a flathead screwdriver but when I twist it, nothing really seems to happen. Car doesnt feel different and the actual part you twist can come out completely.

What am I doing wrong and whats the best way to figure which shock is blown/going?

there is a certain way that have to go in to adjust them, i have them. u might not have them lined up right, and they kind of snap into place, u wont hear it but u should feel it, mine are all in an dont come out.. i put mine on 5 for the track and it is stiff as hell on the street, when i put the backs on 1 i can notie a difference, yea there still a little stiff but not like setting 5.
