how do i sync my tranny with my gears?

Like the gears are wierd i dont have to have put the Shift linkage on in a special way?

Like were the bitch pins gose. dose the rod have to be in??

 

Bitch pin simply goes through the hole on the linkage and the hole on the trans stub. I guess you could put it on upside down but if you look at the stabilizer and the actual shift linkage, they kind of flow together. As long as it's on correctly, there is nothing else to do....

if the pin is in correctly I am concerned that due to his 'fabricated' driver side motor mount and the frame damage mentioned in his other thread that something may not be lined up correctly as far as the positioning of the motor/trans goes.

I suspect that since he asked "If the pin needs to be in" the linkage is just flopping around on the actual input to the transmission with no bitch pin...

 

So it dosn't matter if the stub was pulled out or pushed in?

It just needs to hold the 2 shafts together without play and it should be good.

No its the driverside that got wrecked but with the other engine it was fine?

 

Well, here's a stupid question, you ARE using B-series shift linkage correct? You need shift linkage out of a 94-01 Integra for that swap, your stock D-series linkage will not work.
