bumped out of STX today, CSP my best option?
I know this has been talked about and I read a couple threads that did talk about it, but someone said the R would be in DSP. Isn't it CSP this year? I was in STX, but just bought Victoracers so now I've got to bump up...

says CSP... this is correct right? 'cause I've had a couple people tell me today that thought it was DSP, maybe the R moved up since last year.
thanks...

If you insist on staying with Victoracers, try your luck in SM. On a local level, SM shouldn't have that much competition compared to CSP.
Well I have been owning STS and STX but I want to go faster... and autocross is only part of what I want to do. Besides, winning in a class is less important to me then the overall times at the end of the day, it's not like I'm doing national events. Plus I go to the track regularly. So if I'm going to have 2 sets of wheels/tires, I might as well have something stickier then street tires.

I've had alot of fun in CSP for a couple years...but now with ATS i'm in SM, and it's fun too, but i get completley owned in this region anymore
oddly, SM has a better pax than CSP if you care about that stuff.

you have gotten good info so far. CSP is for the R. SM is a more competitive class for the R (CRX's will eat your lunch). STX is a great R class and who cares about 1-2 seconds when you can compre your times to others on street tires.
FYI, your feild VTEC controllor is not legal in Street Prepared to my knowledge so that rules out CSP as an option. STX or SM and EM are about your only options.
