Default Badass o2 Nissan Se R

What up guys. Just joined this forum cuz i'm interested in Honda's and building one as a project I have herd they are cheap to build as far as part's turbo ect. I would do work on the sentra but its too expensive to make fast. I got it mostly for looks but with the 2.5 4cyl its a blast to drive... My next couple upgrades are going to be suspension, Exhaust, & Leather. I plan on keeping this car for along time as a DD because of the good MPG and its sexy.

Modifications so far:
AEM CAI
XS Power Header
NGJ Plugs
Konig Hotswap Black 18's
Pirelli P-Zero Tires
TYC JDM Tails
Smoked clear corner lights.
Custom Grill
JVC MP3 Player
12 in a bandpass box
Rockford 9 speaker system (stock)

Pics are descending from when i fist got the car until now sorry for the crappy cell phone pics at the bottom I have only had the car a few months and my camera took a crap on my so ill post better updated pictures soon. Thanks and I look forward to learning a lot from the forum.

-DJL
P.S. if there are any other Spec v's / Se R's or even just regular sentra's hit up myspecv.com thats the best site for our cars.

Default FV-QR

Run it into a wall and start again. No pics there are even worth my bandwidth. You listed you plugs as a mod...wtf.

Those wheels belong in a trash heap along with the tails.

And it's an auto.

the white sentra "looks alright" yet your sentra is "badass"? LOL. that white sentra is 10x much more tastefully modded than yours..

i also like how you listed your stock rockford fosgate system in your modifications list.

*edit unless you meant you put the OEM fosgate system in your ride that wasnt previously equipped with it.. either way, welcome to HT.. i hope you have your flamesuit on..

I respect that you are trying but with all of the mods you have done you probably haven't even reached the stock power of the Spec-V model!!! If the header is a street legal model that doesn't eliminate cats then it probably didn't even help at all. And if you think the fuel mileage is good then you should pick up a 1.5L Civic for a daily driver. I don't want to be too hard on you but you really could have done better with what you've got. But hey, if it makes you happy, keep doin what you're doin.

+1

Not that I have anything against automatics (my last car had one and so does my current car), but in a low-power 4-banger you need all the help you can get and a slushbox wont cut it.

Other than that it's just kind of ricey--not too bad, but a the wheels and taillights are a bit guady and listing spark plugs as a mod is just lame.

OP does have a sweet screen name though.

Since everyone else is flaming, i'll throw this in. Spark plugs aren't a mod.

That's because his car is cool in it's own right.

Yours on the other hand is kinda like every other SE-r out there, tire rack wheels and ebay parts.

I mean no offense by that, I wish I could be like you honestly. You have spent about 1k and are happy with it. One of my wheels and tires (yes, one) costs as much as you have spent on the entire car and I am not even close to happy therefore in a logical sense, you are smarter than me.

Oh, and that white one, is SMOKIN for a sentra. I would drive the hell out of that car to carry my kid around.

Welcome.....

As a former 06 Spec V owner, I know what you mean. I love the QR25DE motor. It pulls strong (with my 6 spd). That's what I miss now. You got the XS Header (like me) so that should take care of the pre-cat issues. Did you lock tight your butterfly screws in the intake? That's another known issue you need to take care of on the 02 engine.

wiggady wack y0. I can't think of anything positive to say except "glad YOU like it".

I guess thats what it all comes down to, what YOU like, but damn if it isnt a slow, ugly, dookie brown interior, typical, CHEAP (in the sense that you'd rather have ugly *** rims that are big and pointless for a good price, than higher grade wheels that you might get something from)

idk. whatever. I was there once, when I was 17. But my civic Im sure was faster, and cleaner.

yuck-o.

oh yea. and those are TYC "JDM" tails? ebay fosho.
