Default Eg seats in ef??

I did a search and found nothing. I'm trying to install eg seats into an ef hatch. I have the sliders and the floor mounts from the eg. Is this possible without any welding? How would i do this?

I've done it with my driver's seat. My car is a 90-91 (88-89 is different). 3/4 bolt holes were used, the two in back and one in front. I had to open up the hole on the right rear of the sliders to make it work.

The right rear...

Also, the left rear I had to use a longer bolt and spacer to make it sit normally (I used some nuts as the spacer)...

Then for the front, it was only the front left that was used...

It was fairly ghetto, but it was secure and fully functional. I only did it because I hated seeing my torn stock seat and my friend had the EG seat which happened to be the same color and material as the rest of my interior. He practically gave it to me for free so I said what the heck.

LOL that's just the way I roll The console is a 94-01 integra console for the sake of having cup holders, the rear half is the JDM ITR armrest delete (the buckles used to rub against the regular armrest and left nasty scratches on the plastic).

Not sure if the seats would work the same way on an 89 CRX. I'm not sure how the rails are in relation to the regular Civic and the differences in years.

thanks a lot for your help 24ten. So you said it was secure? what did you mean by ghetto? (just the way it looked?) I dont mind the method used as long as this will be about or as safe as the stock seats. Anyone else have any input or advice?

It'll be fine. The only thing noticeable will be that you can lift the front right corner slightly since it's not bolted down. But ask yourself, how often do you accidently ever do that? The seat will have no play front to back or side to side.

And yeah, ghetto mainly because it's 3/4 bolts only and my washer method but it was secure. If you want all four, you can always do/try the seat pan swap method.
