I use Shell gas, with my shell gas card, I get a 5% rebate on every dollar I spend on shell gas, and since I always pay off my balance at the end of every month I don't get charged a finance charge and usually get a $20-25 rebate at the end of the month which is about a half tank of gas

At the pump they usually have the shell car pamphlets. I think right now they are now offering $.25 rebate for every gallon of gas, at $4.59/gallon for 91 octane I'm only getting a $.23 rebate/gallon so the newer $.25 rebate offer is a bit of a better deal until gas surpases $5/gallon.

Can't beat prices at Costco. I've been using them ever since it hit $4/gal. Currently $4.34/gal here - 91 oct.

I've been pumping 93 octane from my local Schnuck's grocery store for 2+ years now. They have this card where you get 5 cents off for every $25 you spend. So $100 gets you 20 cents off per gallon (compared to Kroger's 10-cent deal for spending $100).

Since we buy groceries every week, I usually get anywhere from 10 to 25 cents off every time I fill up, so it ends up being the cheapest. I paid $3.929 per gallon for 93 octane this past Tuesday morning.

Other than that, it's just whatever is cheapest, usually Citgo. Back in the day I used to ONLY pump Amoco Ultimate (the clear stuff), but those days of brand loyalty are long gone.

FYI my best MPG ever, over 37 mpg on one road trip, was on a tank of 93 octane gasoline from Schnuck's grocery store.

Regardless of price, I use any gas station that doesn't import from the middle east. BP is one example (I think).
