Judging by the sidewall of the tire, I'm guessing he's on 16's.

16s the spoke on the slips look much longer on 16 and 17" than on 15s

 

yep, i have 15's. those look like 16's to me.

The original image was kind of dark, so I brightened it up. It looks like they are 16s based on how small the brakes look in relation to the wheels. The tires look like 45 series or taller.

 

Looking again, they could be 15 inch wheels. It's tough to say.

There is no way those are 40 series tires. The sidewalls are way too tall for that.

You might think that from the original dark pictures.

Yet if you look at the brightened picture you can see the sidewalls are fairly tall.

They are 45 series or taller.
