Hey everyone. I have a 96 EK coupe automatic with 140k miles and its having some issues. The trans will shift fine from 1st to 2nd gear but when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd and then 3rd to 4th it seems like it slips. When it is about to shift the engine will rev and then it will bang into 3rd gear. It also has issues downshifting from 3rd to second, the car will stutter and then shift into 2nd. I replaced trans fluid using Honda ATF. I also replaced the sensor on the trans itself. Do you think it could be the transmission control unit??? I'm trying to avoid the hassle of dropping another tranny in.
