You don't need to build the head. Worry about the bottom end and a really good tune.

yup i would woprry about the rods manily but also the pistons, just cause your not useing a turbo doesnt mean u cant mlet a piston.and last but not least a good tune,i have a decent nitrous base if u need it.

dont even say they wont fit cause they will fit in the zc.just ask laim821 he had them in his 450+hp dohc zc. and getting gsr bearings would be cheaper then buying race coated bearings.

Back in the day when i had a dohc ZC, mine ran on nos, iwas good and fast.....my best time was a 13.7@101mph

Downside was it was hard on the rings, it started to burn oil after the 1st season

yea thats why u buy nitrous rings it dont eat them up as fast as other rings.u put stock rings after u go though 1 or 2 runs i bet your car WILL SMOKE.

instead of nitrous, why not turbo? its more reliable, plus you always will have the power when you need it...nitrous will [freak] up your **** after a while compared to where if you have a well tuned turbo, its almost as reliable or as reliable as n/a

I hate how everybody has that misconception of nitrous being unreliable. Any power adder is unreliable if the engine is not built for it.

My b16 was stock when I strapped the 75 shot to it. I knew that it wouldn't last long because it was STOCK. I would have done the same damage with a turbo or blower. I never "blew" it up but did burn the rings. he he he.

If you want it to last, ring it and tune it. I tuned mine and well...my sig will tell you.
