Default Video of new 08 Civic DX-G, is my muffler fine?

Hey guys just purchased a brand new 08 Civic DX-G. I made a post about this on 8th civic but I thought I'd ask people on a different forum to get more answers.

This is my first Honda and my first 4-Cylinder vehicle. Was wondering if all new Civics make this kind of "putting" noise out of the muffler? I only have 600KM on it I noticed it when I first purchased it also.

Went into the dealer to get it looked at today and you know how that goes, as soon as you go get something looked it, it always starts working fine! Well I pulled in today after a 1 hour drive there and it idled just fine, no rattle, minimal noise.

Heres a link of what it sounded like 20 minutes after leaving the dealership..
What do you guys think, is this normal?

P.S. It sounds QUIETER than it really is in the video, especially now. I'm currently at 1100 KM's and its gets the loudest when its cool at night and on cold starts. I find that after driving in the warm weather for a while it goes away.

Thanks

I think you're being overly sensitive to a car your not familiar with yet. Vid still not working.

Dealerships in the South and East coast like to put those f'n things on the cars. Both of the cars I bought from dealerships when I lived out there were special ordered and I had to specifically be there when they arrived to keep them from gluing their ugly badge to my beautiful black paint.....lol
