hi i have a 91 integra with a b18a1 i had a problem with the spark plug seals leaking oil on to the spark plugs so i figured that was causing the car to start up rough but it would drive fine but after driving it and turning it off when i went to start it up again it would not start so i fixed the oil leak and today i was driving it to the gas station turned it off and went to start it back up and it wouldnt start so now im not sure what it is and now when i rev it hesitates could the plugs be bad now from driving it with oil on them any ideas

 

check your timing,also the battery......

hmm your situation is just like mines.

I don't think it's the battery because when I bought my car, I added a new battery, spark plugs, did an oil change, replaced PCV valve, and header gasket...and I still get issues.

In for a solution or anything that would be helpful too.

yeah as long as I keep the key at it...but then I gas it a few times and it'll start, but very weak at 500RPM and then sounds better beyond 1000RPM. and I start smelling gas and/or smoke.

It could be the main fuel relay.

It can be fixed by resoldering the connections or replacing the relay.

Pull the plugs and check them. Maybe even torch them a little to burn whatever is on the bottom of the plugs before putting them back in. GL
