yes, i have already done a search and i have a few more questions. I plan on running earl's -8AN steel braided line for my feed line and earl's -6AN steel braided line for my return line. My question is, how much should i order of each? I read that dustin ordered 25ft of -6an but i didnt know if he did both return and feed with this. Also, what earl's fitting part #'s do i order to install the lines to my fuel tank?

the feed lines is about 2- 3 feet longer than the return lines...

so now we have..x + (x+3) = 25 heheheeh

x= 11 ft, feed ~ 14 ft, return ~ 11ft, just an approximate..this is assuming you;re running it the same way stock lines were ran..thru the bottom of the driver side and accross the firewall on the engine bay to the fuel filter...(if you still using the same spot of the stock fuel filter..)

for the oil lines you will want either a -3 or -4 AN for the feed, and about a -10 for the return

hey guys,

if you guys are planning on running fuel lines, i suggest that you guys use the teflon lined braided hoses instead of the rubber hoses.

the fuel vapors leak out of the rubber hoses, especially with cars that run FI fuel pressures...

just a tip..

nothing less than speed-flex...

 

21 1/2 feet ................I just did mine this past wekend and I used two (2) 51" hard lines for under the car and ended up using 13' of SS line to connect them to the tank and to the filter and FPR.
51" x 2 = 102" of hard line
102" / 12 = 8.5 feet of hard line + 13 feet of SS line = 21 1/2 feet total. I will send you pics if you want. I am assuming you have an Integra?

approx how much does it cost to do the fuel lines in ss or ss/hardline combo?

Your looking at about $350 or so dollars in just SS line and fittings. Add the rail, regulator, filter and you could easily spend over $650 easily.
If you want to save some money, then go with the hard lines.

 

exactly how GOOD are the hard lines? i have the money for the earl's ss but its always good to save money though. i imagine you run them the same way you run the ss lines, but what about bending them and what not? are the hard lines the type of material that can bend quite easily? also, what fittings do you use on these? what is the longevity of these lines compared to the ss ones? im still new to the whole fuel line and fitting ordeal... give me a few days and ill have all my part #'s posted up hoping you guys can go over it with a fine tooth comb and make sure i have everything right. i REALLY appreciate all the help you guys have provided.

 

ok now i know how to run the hard lines thanks to Farnsrocket, whos set up may i add looks very impressive! i think im going to run hard lines under my car...

I am sure the hard lines are more durable than the SS lines. I bent them slightly with my knee, just so they would follow the brake lines that go to the tank. In the beginning, I bought a pipe bender and bought 60" hard lines and ended up having to bend them way too much to reach up to the tank, so I just took them back and exchanged them for 51" hard lines...........they fit flush with the stock hard lines to the points where they startt o bend up to the engine up front and up to the tank in the back.
