JG engine H22 rebuild...Need help, All sleeved H22 advice!

Default JG engine H22 rebuild...Need help, All sleeved H22 advice!

Good day.... I hardly post becuase Im on the grind finding the info I need for My CD5 Swapped H22 sleeved boosted with full interior AC, navi what ever u can think of it will be sqewezed in somewhere!!

But I can figure out where Im supposed to Measure My Cp pistons ring gap?!?!? After reading the Chilton and the Manufactors manual I cant seem to find guiadance on the bottom or the top of thte cylinder before fmeasuring and filing to gap....... Hte Cp website gives what ot use but I need to know becuase I get a slight measuremtn off from the deepest part of the cylinder fromt the top.

No it's fresh from the machine shop.... I jus dont have the right tool to catch the bore... Right now I jus wanna figure out where to put the rings tomeasure the top or bottm?

i think you can just tap them down into the bore any distance. the bore should be cylindrical from top to bottom so it shouldn't make a difference. just make sure the ring is in there square, using a piston to drive it in.

i usually push the rings in with the piston, and push them down til the piston is al the way in the cylinder

and it doesnt matter where you do it bc the cylinder should be the same bore from top to bottom
