Default car stalled when driving, wont start...diagnosis?

i have an 93 hatch with stock ls motor. i was driving it and then all a sudden she turned off. i attempted to put her in second while it was moving to roll start it but with no luck. it wouldnt start. i parked it and turned the key and it would keep cranking but would not turn over. i assumed it may be the fuel pump going bad but i am not sure. how would i check for the fuel pressure or any possible other things it might by so i could narrow down the problem. any help would be much appreciated.

fuel filter is new. poss timing belt? no compression...

Your problem is probably either fuel or spark related, I'm sure. I think you would know if your timing belt broke, so that's probably not it. You had mentioned checking the fuel pump pressure, if that checks out fine, I would check the cap and rotor. I was driving out in the country at 90MPH one night, and my motor just died. It would crank but not start. It ended up being the cap and rotor.

check for spark first. pretty simple check. if its not spark related, put a screwdriver to your injectors, and screwdriver to your ear and see if youre getting a pulse from them.

tell you the truth i dont know where the diagnosis plug it because i didnt do the swap and not sure where to find it. i havent owned a honda before. but i just pulled one of the wires out of the head and installed a spark plug into it. i cranked the motor and saw that there was no spark in the spark plug. the rotor, plugs and wires are brand new. not sure where to go from here.

and any help trying to locate the diagnosis port. does the port look like and obd2 port?

if it helps, pulled off dizzy cap and saw that the rotor is spinning if that helps

If it's a 93 there will be a small two wire plug under or near the glove box by the ecu. It will have a brown and a black wire you'll need to use a paper clip to jump them together.
After that you will need to turn the ignition on, without starting the car. The check engine light will flash if there is a code. Long flashes indicate tenth increments and quick flashes equal single increments. For example LONG, SHort, Short would be a code 12. Try that and let me know what you come up with.
Don't attempt to use a code reader made for an obd2 vehicle because your car is wired obd1 and will not have a port to plug into, you'll just waste you time trying to find one.
