Default What is this? rad Fan install

I was getting ready to install a aftermarket fan. Was gonna tie into facotry wiring but... does it need to be wired after this block box. or do I just cut up by the connector so I can usue it

.. what is it?

just cut it out, mine does have it and it works fine.

Looks like a micro relay or switch of some kind. Do you have a pic of what it unplugged from (or where it was in the car)?

it's a capacitor to filter out undesired noise from the fan running.
I'd keep it if you can. You may have static or buzzing in the radio if it's not present.
