Default brake lights

I have a 1996 honda accord ex with a vtech engine, I am having a problem with my brake lights, the lights stay on while I'm driving and even when the car is off and parked. If I remove the bulbs then brake lamp lights up on the dash, when replace the bulbs the brake lamp on the dash is gone, I don't know what is going on, please help, I hope this is clear...............

From your description of the problem, I would be suspect of the brake light switch at the brake pedal. There is a plug in the pedal arm that the switch plunger contacts. The plug may have worn thru or fallen out.

I am trying to understand what the actual problem is, as your post is confusing.

Sir, I found out it is the brake light switch in the pedal, I'm getting the part today, is this an easy do it yourself job, if so could you give me some instructions please, thanks in advance...........
