Default Please help new integra owner

I recently bought a 98 4dr integra from a private owner. I made 2 big mistakes.

1. I didnt realize the 98 had both 94-97 front/rear bumpers.
2. I didnt run a carfax until 4 months after I bought the car, because fact #1 just clicked in my head

Yes, go ahead and say "you should have run the carfax before..."

However, I did run the carfax now, and it says that the car was issued a salvage title in 02 in OR. But the car was registered to a different owner in WA after the salvage title, as a CLEAN title! Carfax is saying that it may have been a victim of title washing (altering of the title). I do not know exactly how salvaged titles transfer between OR and WA. Needless to say, I am quite upset right now.

Good side, the car was repaired to teh point where I could not tell from the bumpers or the paint that it was ever in an accident.

My question is, I am thinking of returning the 98 integra to its original look. Does the fact that the car was repaired change how I do the conversion to the 98-01 front and rear?

After searching it appears that EVERYTHING I need is:

Front bumper, Front headlights and Front corner/turn lights
Rear bumper (I can keep the sedan 97 taillights if wanted)

What of the parts I need are different for sedan vs. 2dr (since sedan tegs seem more harder to find)
Do I need a set of front 98 FENDERS?

Also, how much should I pay for each component? I live in WA, and does anyone know how to obtain such items for my integra? I want OEM parts, so how do I verfiy that what I am buying are OEM parts?

If I get let's I need to get the bumpers repainted to my car's color, how much does this usually cost for a great job?

Lastly, to make things worse, the car is a unique shade of silver, (almost greenish silver). Does anyone know this color code?

Drive around locally to a couple body shops locally and get them to write you up estimates..

Prices will vary as the quality of the work will too..

parts for the conversion shouldn't be that hard to find....wait until your trial membership is over then head to the marketplace, im sure somebody in washington has the parts in their garage just collecting dust that they will let go for cheap. as for the paint, a shop should be able to match it w/o a problem....the paint job itself may be the most expensive out of the conversion for a GOOD one...just depend on where you go.

btw, the color code is Citrus Silver Metallic (NH-597M). I only found 1 post about this color on honda-tech, and supposedly it is very rare?

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but are the sedan parts exactly the same as 2dr for the front bumper, rear rumper, front turn signal lights and the signal light brackets?

Thanks so much h-t!

Part pricing should not very much at all if you are buying from the dealer between the 2dr and 4dr. 2dr and 4dr are not that much different in price. I would recommend definitely scoping out your area for parts, makes things easier on your pocket. Good luck
