Default what will happen if i manually engadge vtec soenoid on f22b1

i just found out since i had this car that the vtec was not hooked up and cannot find the wire to plug in to the solenoind

That all depends on when you open it. It could cause your car to run poorly if not opened at the proper time. It won't blow up if that's what your worried about. It's just that your fuel and ignition maps/ ECU fuel delivery information will not match the VTEC. Therefore you could run into a lean fuel condition or possibly stalling???? I've never tried running VTEC without a VTEC ECU. That is basically what you would be doing buy switching it manually.

What model Accord is this? Do you have a CEL light on, if not then I would assume that your car is not running a VTEC ECU. A VTEC ECU will through a Diagnostic Trouble Code if the VTEC isn't operating.

its a94 accord, and i bought at a auction and i think that it was a lx and and had the ex engine put in it, and no the engine light doesnt come on

so if i engadge the solenoind for a second to see what happens it probally with run rich and then go back to normal ops
