Default repair or replace flex pipe? collector mod?

like other dc header owners, the flex pipe always leaks. is it cheaper for me to have a shop cut it off and weld on a new flex pipe, or is there any other way around this?

what are collector mods? is it worth getting done?

If you buy a new flex piece (or you could go solid, I woudn't personally but others have went with a solid pipe) and than have a shop weld it in, it shouldn't be more than an hours labour so probably under 100 dollers.

The collector mod I believe is just upgrading your exhaust inner diameter. In order to benifit off of the collector mod, you'd probably need to upgrade all your pipe sizes going back to 2.5 as opposed to the 2.25 (I believe stock is)
