Trailing Arm e brake cable bracket removal?
I searched everything and the only answer i found was to use a solder torch and make the hole bigger. i dont have a solder torch and nothing really that could make the hole bigger. i remember doing the other trailing arm and had trouble with it but i did get it but i cant remember how. im talking about when your removing the trailing arm i cant get that bracket on the ebrake to fit threw the hole so that the trailing arm will let loose. please gimi some help on how to get it off i gota get the car on the ground tomorow morning! thanks
which direction are you trying to pull the bracket through? you definitely do NOT need to torch your chassis to remove the ebrake cables. I am just not sure where you are having trouble.
no im trying to take my trailing arm off the car. the eb rake cable goes through a hole in the trailing arm and theres a bracket that bolts onto the caliper im trying tho get that bracket to fit threw the hole in the trailing arm so i can pull it off. that bracket is supposed to come off but its not. i alredy too the C clip thats holding it down. its a DA btw if theyre any diferent from DC's
remove the clevis pin from the caliper arm, the the C clip from in front of the bracket. once these are free the cable will pull through the bracket and you can remove it.
