Upgrade to a higher amp alternator. You trying pull more power out of your car than the alternator can produce. So I'm guessing its fried.

if i were to get a new one how much would it be and how long would it last with my current setup. i might just sell my setup and get a 200rms amp then, or would i still need a new alternator. would a capacitor be an option?

had the recall done on your ignition switch?

when the contacts go bad, your key/ignition thinks it is in the off position, so it shorts and cuts power.....not sure if that's the case, however, if it is.....when it dies for good....i.e. won't start again, try turning the key between the start and on position, you have to turn it half way......like don't let it turn back to the on position.....

if that's the case hope this helps.....

fyi the ignition switch comes apart (needs to come apart to go in)

The problem was with 5th Gen Accords (94-97)

Not sure if it is still active, but the recall was for 1997 models. It's an easy fix though.....might take....20-30 mins.

Steering Column Cover Off, Unscrew The Switch.....Remove the clip. Pull it apart, put on the new one
