strange high pitch noise from air filter
There is some wierd noise coming from my air filter box. My intake is all stock except for a K&N filter. I was doing some work on my "94 ls today when I noticed this high pitch hum or howl coming from the air filter box. Anyone had this experience and know what it is?

It's normal. The air that's being sucked through the filter creates a whistling sound at certain RPM's due to the traveling air velocity.

Yea, the first time I changed my intake I was scared that I F****d something up because it was whirring, sounded like I had a turbo or something.
