Default putting H22 internals in H23

I've already done a search. Anyway I have a h22 with a broken mounting spot on the driver side due to a wreck. but i have a h23 sitting at my house how hard would it be to put the h22 internals in the h23? The reasoning is b/c the h22 has type s pistons on eagle rods

as long as the piston to wall clearance is within spec and the walls are ok, then it should be fine.

the h22a block is the exact same as the h23a block.

you will need to swap the oil squirters and remove the oil orifice plug from the block.

You will use the codes from your H23 block and the codes from your H22 crank to determine what bearings you need.

I'd use the H22 ones but I can't say why exactly. Maybe because the H22 is considered a High Output engine from Honda where the H23 is not.
