Default OEM LCA Replacement...

alright so I got the Energy Suspension front control arm bushing kit and I realized that not only do you have to burn out the bushing, You also need to remove that little sleve thats stuck in there... First off is there any tricks to getting these out? If not I was just going to buy new LCA's from honda. Also heres another question, Since I already have the bushings, would it make sence to pres out the new bushings for the energy suspension bushings? I know they are stiffer but there downsides too like less bushing life and sometimes squeaking... The car is going to basically be a track/autoX car and that is why I'm even considering pressing out new bushings for stiffer ones... Let me know what you guys think!

What I always do is cut a few of slits in it with a miniature "saws all" and chisle it out.

A hack saw with a good cutting blade will do the trick. Cut through the collar and knock it out with a chisel. If your going to autox the car then you should install the bushings. If it was just a daily driver then I would stick with stock for the reasons you mentioned.
