It's in bad shape. She picked it up for $150 in town with no motor. I already dropped a B18b with a cable tranny and a hydro to cable conversion.

Parts to came this month are a B16a head, AFI ramhorn turbo kit, new fenders, and depending on what we can find carbon hood and trunk. If we can't get a good deal then just new OEM hood and trunk.

Starting body work on it next weekend. I have to straighten both quarter panels. Fix some dents on both doors, sand the all the clear off the targa top. Them repaint both the whole car. The color is a secret for now but I am painting the engine bay and door jams and inside the trunk to match.

The care already has Sportline springs. Will be getting different shocks and struts but not sure what yet. Probabily Illumina's or AGX's.

This is gonna be her new toy and her built H22 Accord will be her daily driver.

She got the whole setup for $1600. The motor and tranny were $400 intown. She had the ECU laying around. The hydro to cable kit was $40 shipped. The motor came with an ACT Xtreme clutch. SHe's picking up a full b16 with a bad crank for $400 intown. I guess the key in the crank pully snaped and [freak]ed up the end of the crank pretty bad. I'm doing all of the body work for her. About $100 in materials for all the body work. The paint is gonna run around $400. I'm pulling the windshield and all of the seals before paint so there's no nasty making lines. Here's pics of some other cars I have painted.

I shaved the sidemarkers in the front and rear bumpers and put the CTR lip on. Since this pic I have painted and installed CTR sideskirts and and rear lip. I also did the CTR wing and modified it to fit an EP3 rear window.

We used the original paint code but I added Silver FX pearl in the clear. The pearl has a blue sheen to it. I painted the lip and side skirts to match.

Were going to pick up a complete GSR head, intake and dizzy for $350 tinight. The turbo setup should be here any minute now.

Body work has finally been started. There's a ton of bondo! Actually, there's not as much as I thought there would be. I just bought a Seibon OEM carbon fiber hood so that will be here sometime soon. I'm still needing to find some fenders. Password has some with side markers but I'd have to wait like 6 mos. So I'm not sure where I'm going to buy them from now... I'll try to post up some new pics of the body work so far. Oh yeah, i got a new trunk lid wednesday.

 

If you don't mind me asking, what color paint is that on your g/f's accord?

 

it's just frost white with silver FX pearl in the clear coat. In a few years we're going to re paint the whole car windows out and everything and i think i'll do a white paint with pearl next time instead of just in the clear.

 

When she says there a ton of bondo she means theres alot of small dents that need filler. It looks like the car has hail damage all over it. The only pannels that we arnt replacing are the doors and bumpers.

I'm in the hospital for a while so I haven't even seen the work so far. I had my roommate get her started on filling and sanding all of the small dents. When I get out I'm pulling the motor and getting her started preping the engine bay while I start on the big body work like fixing the area on the drivers side where it looks like it was side swipped.

I can't wait to get out and get to work on her.
