spring rates D2
i've searched but couldn't find a decent answer to my questions...
At the moment i have a d2 coilover set on my 5th gen prelude...
i'm building the car for the track... maybe some street use... but i dont mind stiff suspension...
the d2 suspension is not as stiff as i'd like to be...
so i want to put some custom springs on there... but i cant seem to find what the spring rates are atm....
and i'd like to know what the ideal spring rates would be... front softer then rear?
only thing i could find stated that i should have 16kg/mm front and 7kg/mm rear springs now... (900F/390R) but that seems a bit off...
just getting into this a bit... is spring rate dependant on how long the spring actually is?
so shorter springs... higher rate?
thnx
