Backyard Turbo Kits- Let me know whatcha got.
Alright,
I am looking to turbo my 90 crx(B18c1 swap.) I have looked into full-race kits but they are just too expensive(considering this is a budget build.) Rev hard makes a decently priced one but I am not trying to spend the extra cash when I know that there are plenty of resourceful people out there who have already done their own R&D and have come up with there own mix of mitsu 20Gs and JRC Front mounts that can make this whole process alot easier on me! lol. So, like the title says, show me whatcha got. Send pics, parts lists, let me know what kind of power ur making with your setup, etc. I am really looking forward to seeing what you guys and girls have cooked up.
Thanks alot,
James

You can piece together your own turbo setup with quality parts and do it for much less than the average kit. If you want the highest quality parts, take your time and wait for the deals to come.
Classified sections and craigslist are good places to scour for parts.
There are places that going cheap is okay, and others were it is not okay.
Most importantly, get quality fuel management and get it tuned asap. Don't drive on it untuned or on a basemap.
Also don't cheap out on the turbo. I would look into a BW turbo, they are killer turbos and the best on the market IMO.
Look at Spoolin Performance for a mani.
Other than that, it will take time and searching on your part to make it work.
