umm, whats the point?

all you are going to see is amber... and its not going to be brighter...

only use super white bulbs in your reverse lights, city lights or license plate lights ...

super white, is just a blue tint that makes the color of the light look "cooler" (as in temperature)

its not actually brighter...

I think it would come out as a funky greenish color, just stick with classy amber.

If you want a different look use High power LED bulbs in orange...it will make the light much more pure orange and clean.

I recently bought clear housings for my integra for my turn signals, and still have the stock 1157 and 194 white bulbs; which looks like a soft soft yellow. Aka garbage.

I'm looking into getting brighter bulbs, and basically have the same question.

In regards to LED's..
White? "Bright" White?
Or should I go Amber?

I want a bright, solid color. Not a soft light behind an amber shield. Are amber LED's bright and crisp?

Also, I know my stock 1157 bulb has the two coils inside to provide a 'low' and 'high' type light (for running light, and blinker when its on).. Do LED's have a secondary, higher light intensity? Or would it not flash when my blinker is on like the oems?

I also plan on getting clear-housing tail lights.
Suggestions in regards to lighting in those?

Any help is appreciated.

actually, if you any sort of blue coated bulbs into amber housings...the light output will be very, very dim.

If you get the proper High intensity LED bulbs they are just as bright as stock and yes you can get dual intensity ones as well....I run them in my orange crystal front corners and they are awesome. Actually Every light in my car is LED and they are all daylight visible, and look way better than stock bulbs.
