i have a 95 civic hatch with a gsr swap.. i was driving home on the feeway and the car shut of while i was driving.. well she cranks wont turn over so i bought a new ignition coil and it started rite up. i figured id give it time to warm up about 2 minutes after it was running it shut off againg.. now its do the same thing it was doing can someone please help me.
when it shuts off, will it start back up again now that the coil has been changed, Couple things i can think of that are easy to check and you can eliminate them early is your Neutral saftey switch, Take the connector off is there power and ground is the connector corroded, Other thing Wiggle the Ignition switch and test the Wires. The other things i can think of is Check your Plugs/wires/cap and clean your throttle body and IAC and TPS knock sensor maybe you will find somthing obvious like a connector slipping off.....If still nothing there Check your Tensioner for your Timing belt maybe the timing belt is missing some teeth here and there?
