Default I got in an accident an hour ago, i have a few questions

Well i was driving out of work. Im behind a 80-90 ford truck [METAL] about 1 car length apart from him. A red car speeding up behind me, passes me up and quickly enter the lane i was in right in front of the truck. Hit the truck and truck slammed the brakes, i down shifted ones slammed my beaks and screamed " ohhhh goood!" my brakes locked and under the truck i went. Every one was mad but the guy in truck asked me for insurance info, he saw my face and he said i could go since i only hit the metals under his truck. so i left... all of this happened between 65-75 MPH, not even 5 minutes i spent on the road before i hit.

DAMAGE:
hood is dentes scratched...
fender has a hole and several dents and scratches
headlights are aiming up
lip is crakked
bumper is scratched dented and broken and tabs broke as well , both sides
driver side fender has a dent as well, i dont know how.
the metal that holds fender in plase is crooked
metale that holds bumper in place is crooked as well
the hole were i had a nut holdin bumper to fender has bin torn open
my car tiltis to the right, my car is lower on the passenger side
and when i accelarate i feel im on the beach,[rocky road effect]

Quick questions..

what made my brakes lock??
should something be replaced?
my car slowly steers to the right , im assuming i need an aligment chek .
my car is a litle more lower on the side of impact, passanger side.
when im in any gear and speed up, my steering wheel rocks left and right viscously.
what should be replaced, and around how much would it cost me?
i want an idea before i take it to a shop..

few things on mind, ave up over summer and replace and fix or
save and get me a JDM front end or sell the car.
Im asking for input frompersonal expirience, im not asking what should i do.

here are the lovely pics:

i really can't help much on the steering issues.... i'd take it to a collision shop, they can narrow it down quicker

just take a few days and relax, i know how it is after an accident.... just get your head straight before you do anything

Hrrmm... so you're paying for this all out of your pocket??????

Why didn't you just stay at the scene and get it all taken care of, medical, if needed, and auto repair would have been put on the insurance of the person who was found to have caused the accident.

Yea, know that I think of it, I'm thinking it must of been the trucks fault? as he was the one who told you you can leave, as in my insurance will not have to pay for your bills if you are not reported to even be involved.....

You have a vibration issue do to your rotors being warped. Most likely during the hard breaking right before the impact. Could have also bent the axle.
Your passanger side sits lower because most likely during the impact the frame rail took a hit and was bent down a little. This can also cause the pull.
If you are going to fix it, I say replace the hood, fender, save and fix the front bumper.
The headlight is pointint up most likely because your radiator support is bent.

Take it in for an estimate, see what they come up with. Make sure you take it to a good shop, so they do quality work.

if you didn't fcukup your bumper support then you're cool, no need for a jdm front...unless you want to. but the parts you need are so cheap...98+ hood, bumper, fender....somebody has them for the low, your headlights are not even cracked!

as for the suspension....it may be fcuked....usually a violent shake on acceleration is your tire rod, the part is not that expensive, but the labor maybe depending on who you go to....you may have blew your strut, which is why is sits lower on the side of impact...but like MrDomino said get your head straight and just take it to a shop for an estimate, don't sell it it's just minor things messed up...g/l

im 17 i had no insurance so i derved it and he let me fled the scene,
it was my fault because my car failed to break. cop would say it was my own fault you know, he would think i would be speeding or texting or something other teens do...

but i get decent money , but i would get everything used or new because my mom and dad dont help me with money

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by rockinthe94LS &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">was the abs light on before the accident?</TD></TR></TABLE>

it has never been on but i tested bulb long time ago , how? i blew a bulb so i replaced all of them in that day so i wouldnt be replacing them one by one later on.

but maybe what ever sends the bulb the signal , failed to do so..

naw insurance would put me in debt and i need to go to UTI next year i cant be in debt..

thanks dude, it was hideus, before and i fixed her up. what is so saddening is that the paint job isnt even 2 months old.. and those headlights are after market
the go on ebay for 150 or 250 i dont remember , they are rice to some people but i brake necks with them so i dont care they look nice at night..

o, well since the rad. support is fcuked then you need a whole new front end...hence a jdm front. it would be in your best interest to fix it....did it run good before the accident? dont just sell it and get another used car...trust me you'll be starting all over again....and please get insured even if it's just liabilty

don't sell it, why would you sell it...people get into accidents everyday and get their cars repair within a few days/weeks...if you sell it you'll just be getting into another headache with another used car. your car runs and drives but just needs a little tlc right now......trust me i sold my db after i got into a wreck and the kid who bought it and threw on a jdm front in two weeks, then i bought this dc and a week later my clutch pedal fell to the floor...true story

Dont sell the car bro seriously.

Now you have an excuse for a JDM front end dont you? and you can still make some money from selling the old panels and stuff, the driver side fender and headlights and such are still good.

And its low mileage, its worth keeping dude. keeeeeeeeeep itttttttttt

Aw c'mon dude you're just gonna sell it? Dude this is your baby you gotta be there for her man. you can't just drop it when the **** hits the fan + you're gonna be losing a lot of money with all of those damages to it. it'd be cheaper to fix and plus this is what separates the men from the boys. get down and dirty and fix that car up, don't be an amaeteur and expect that every car accident you're just gonna sell it off, you're gonna regret it in the future when you want an integ again.

Anything that has to do with ABS cost ALOT. just FYI so if your abs pump is bad, That thing is going to cost a arm and a leg. Unless you get it used.

Definitely don't sell it. You have a nice car right now. If you sell it wrecked (reconstructed title) you're not going to get very much for it especially with the suspension problems.

Take it to a body shop and get the work done right. Trust me. Your car is worth way more to you right now than it would be to anyone else.

It's going to cost alot of fix but that's how it is when you're in an accident.

After you get everything fixed, get insurance before you buy another part for your car.
