CD player not getting power

Default CD player not getting power

I have a 93 Coupe ex. i pulled the stock player and installed a panasonic deck. didn't even turn on. checked all fuses even spare in the engine bay. used a multimeter to check for power got zeros on all wires. what color is the power wire and the ignition wire?? My wife is getting pissed at me for not having it working, please help!!

Boost it until it blows up YAh! Then buy another one!

No.....but for an answer that might actually help unlike ones like that, orange and yellow are the typical power and ignition wires.

I know the feeling about a girl being pissed because you didn't install the stereo right, and it was her Christmas present too haha. Wish I could help more.

I went to Best Buy and said I wanted to do it myself but needed help, so they drew a diagram and it made sense to me. Do you have the manual? Those things are so hard to read.

white/blue wire is your constant, goes to the yellow on the cd player. black goes to black or just ground it and im not sure what color the red goes to in the honda.

i do have the manual but yea very hard to read. but thanks for the colors. i'll check them again.

all right so I checked the correct wires and still no power anywhere the furs are still good inside and out. I have the chiltons but its no help. anyone have any other ideas??

well what color chassis wires to you have going to what color on your cd player?
