Default climate control is outta control...

i recently pulled my climate control out to install red bulbs . now its constantly blowing air . its a 95 civic ex coupe, and the controls show *off,1,2,3,4* , and when on *off* its still blowing air out at the speed of *1* .

i took it back out and inspected it. the plastic fork that attaches to the **** that controls the air level is attached correctly. i also reconnected the heater control cable back onto its bracket correctly (but im not sure if the cable poses any relevance to the issue ).

im not sure if this has happened to anyone else... can anyone help out?

are you able to put the **** in position 4?
If you can't then, you installed the assy 1 position ahead of the ****(if it all makes sens)

Like he said.. You probably hooked up the cable wrong, so in actuality its in the 1 position all the time instead of off.
