Foglight Switch Location
I am trying to find the OEM location of the Foglight switch on 98+ integras equipped with Cruise Control and Foglights.
I want to keep the ITR front end swap as clean as possible, and put the switch in the OEM location for the US integra dash.
Picture would help, thanks in advance

If your referring to the switch located in the arm-rest, here are some pics of the switch:

actually the foglight switch that goes in the arm rest is for 94-97 tegs, believe its SI Vtec fogs or sirg fog but it will also work for 98+ ones.. there's aso another location for the 98+ oem fogs(also includes itr) and that's located where the dimmer switch is for the cluster.. either one you can keep your cruise controls!

This is incorrect. My brand new fog kit (98-01) came with the switch above. The switch on the dash is JDM.

That would be the fog light switch that would replace the cruise control switch on JDM model integras. I believe they also used those to for the UKDM rear foglights, although I'm not sure, nor does it matter.

Correct, the 98+ USDM Integras that came with optional fog lights were equipped with the switch that I have pictured that is located in the arm rest.
With that in mind, it doesn't really matter what switch you use. If your wiring up a new set of fog lights, the switch doesn't really matter. Either will pretty much work for any application. I have a 98+ USDM foglight switch running my 94-97 Si-Vtec fog lights. It's mainly just a preference issue on switch location. If your considering the JDM switch, and your car is equipped with cruise control, you will have to choose whether or not you want that option in your car. Although I'm not sure, it was stated you could use the JDM switch in place of the dimmer, which would allow you to keep the cruise control switch. There are so many wiring options, it doesn't matter at all which switch you choose, the only thing that matters is that it is done right, and is fully functional.

You would have to find a way to tuck the dimmer switch behind the dash plugged in.
I am running the JDM switch in my R with the 98-01 optional fogs and harness. Of course, the R's don't come with cruise, so it's in the cruise control switch location.

Only JDM models had the round switch. Everywhere got the center console switch.

um no... for 1994-97 integra the fog light switch goes on the dash. its located on the other side of the lumination dial. it comes with a blank peice instead of an actual button.
the integra RS comes with a blank peice instead of an actual button for any use. its round.
sorry no pics.

The RS and ITR came with a cruise control switch blockoff plate, but it doesn't mean the 94-97 Integras came with the dash switch. They came with the console switch like every other non-JDM Integra.
To correct my post above, only the JDM models had the round front fog light switch. Europe had the round rear fog light switch on the dash.

Doesn't seem like you get what he's saying. The switch that goes on the center console is what comes with the foglights. Go ahead and try putting that on your dash where the JDM fog light switch goes. You'd have to go out and buy the JDM fog light switch along with your USDM fog light kit, which I will agree that it does look better.

In the UK/Europe, the rear fog switch takes the place of the dimmer switch, not the cruise switch.

Just to give you some idea I have two fog lights, and I also have two fog light switches.
For my front UKDM fog I use the UKDM/JDM fog Switch.

For the rear UKDM/JDM fog light I use the USDM fog switch.
