Is there a supercharger kit available for the H22A motor? If so, does it fit in a 5th gen accord bay?

 

yes, jackson racing makes one. and if you want it to fit it will fit, i dont know how easy it will be though.

 

not easy at all. have you ever seen a prelude supercharged, man its so crammed in there.

 

If you like to spend money and give away your soul, I think you can get the supercharger to fit.

The way your accord sits right now it wouldn't work.

The firewall is too close. Your pulley would be up on your struts as well.

To get the JRSC to fit on a Hybrid Accord would be difficult at best. You would need to cut out a section of the firewall, and then reweld it back further. This would result in you having to modify the dashboard fo rit to fit back in against the modified firewall. You would then have to cut the strut towers, and redesign them. It is also a possibility that you would have to move the enitre strut assembly. A front half tube chassis would be in order.

This is what I was told when I asked JR about it.

 

What about a vortech type blower?

 

Vortechs have been custom done in H22 Civic's, so I see no reason one can not be done in an Accord. It is a matter of getting quite a few custom mounts made, and piping bent though.

 

I think that easier than cutting into your firewall, modifying your dash, and changing your entire front damping system.
