Will i be ok running buddy club stage 4 cams
i just built my b18c1 with 12:3 compression pistons new oil pump new eveyrthing, im running msd SCI system, dsm 450cc injectors skunk2 IM DC Header. basically the head has kms springs and retainers im getting skunk2 high compression valves with nitric coating, because it says i need high compression valves valve springs and retainers to run these cams, once i get the valves will i be ok to run them?
I did my valvetrain for BCIV's but didn't change my valves. I was under the impression that the had close to the same profiles as the S2S2 cams. I would definitely recommend claying the motor though.
in all honesty, this cam works pretty well on my stock comp gsr... im running stock valves, stock LMA's, crower springs with their steel retainers, on a stock usdm bottom end it pulled 184whp 121wtq on a 92* day...
but i do have a 2 liter block waiting to go in, and im fully aware that according to most im very overcammed... IMHO there is no such thing as overcammed... just undermotored
